Description
The CD features a complete set of surviving Niebiesko-Czarni’s recordings (except album and live versions) from 1971 to 1974.
Absolutely sensational 7 recordings produced in the East German radio studios; only one released, the other six unknown to even the most loyal fans. The East German session produced 6 recordings from the rock opera Naga and an excellent cover of Them Changes (composed by Buddy Miles and performed by Jimmy Hendrix’s band, among others).
Note: only 3 of the recordings are performed in German !!!
Only one of the 11 radio recordings (Naga) has an album version.
The unreleased recordings include the captivating Cienie na wietrze, over 7 minutes long, in style of Colosseum blues.
Recordings from the last 1974 session (e.g. Musisz się zakochać) are a perfect combination of accessible and experimental.
Exclusive edition in a highly tasteful fold-out card sleeve with a 20-page booklet (full of excellent photos from the period, with a professional description of the band’s history) and a special CD envelope
All tracks have been remastered from the original master tapes and sound excellent.
Why search for the band’s rare recordings in popular compilations (mostly badly edited and unofficial) when you can invest in a well-organised, true compendium of knowledge on the band’s music?
The release prepared with the help of the band’s soloist, Wojciech Korda
