For the first time ever on CD, the most popular British compilation of Cliff Richard’s hits – “Cliff’s Hit Album”. Originally, the album was released in mono only. However, 1971 reissue contained 6 tracks in stereo and 8 in so-called mock-stereo (created from mono recordings by manipulating frequencies). Thanks to the latest AI-powered de-mixing technology, all 14 tracks have been remixed to achieve an entire album in crystal-clear true stereo.

Rest assured, the CD does not sound like the amateur stereo conversions often found on the internet. The quality of the material is excellent and fully professional. The project took several months, aiming not only for the best possible separation of individual instruments and vocals but also for a full, wide sound that preserves the atmosphere of the era’s mixes. Inside the cover there are detailed descriptions about the arrangement of individual instruments and vocal parts in the stereo panorama. This makes it easier to compare the original and remixed versions.

To satisfy those who do not favor the new approach to classic recordings, the album also includes newly remastered original mixes from years ago in both stereo and mono (in cases where a stereo version was never recorded or released). All tracks are sourced from faithful transfers of the original master tapes from before 1994, without the slightly ‘metallic’ equalization and artificial reverberation that they were subjected to later.
